Hiring a toastmaster for your special day means the wedding party can relax and enjoy the day knowing a professional is on hand to ensure everything happens as planned.
Every wedding is unique and special to the happy couple and so Toastmaster services are tailored to suit each special day. Duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Prior to the arrival of the Wedding Party and guests ensure that the function room(s) have been prepared in accordance with your wishes.
- Liaison with the venue and suppliers, such as caterers and entertainers, to ensure that everything runs smoothly and according to timetable.
- Receive the happy couple upon arrival at the venue
- Assist the Photographer in forming the various group photographs
- Organise the receiving line and introduce guests to the Hosts
- Ensure guests are seated at the appropriate time for the meal
- Announce the arrival of the happy couple to the Wedding Breakfast
- If requested say Grace or introduce the guest who is to perform this duty
- Organise and announce the cutting of the cake
- Introduce the formal speakers and assist with any presentations
- Announce the retirement of Bride and Bridegroom from the table
- Advise guests of subsequent arrangements (clearing tables for allow space for dancing etc.)
- As requested introduce the first dance
For all weddings I like to meet the couple several weeks beforehand so we can go through in detail how they want the day to unfold.
